Barb’s the doer. As the principal of 2Shea Creative Barb has been a constant of the Columbus design scene since the 80’s. Barb and her husband Bill started the agency over 37 years ago and have grown it to include a strong team of talented designers. Barb is known for getting things done, and quick. She brings decades worth of experience to her clients and crew. She’s the driving force at 2Shea— powered predominantly by peanut M&M’s and black coffee.

Jessie Shea

Jessie’s the quick-draw of ideas. She can brainstorm concepts like no other. She is a wealth of creative solutions to any design riddle. But Jessie’s creative goods don’t stop there—beyond the office; she occasionally brings all of her art school talent to the prop department of her kids theater program.

Matt Shea

Matt’s the “details” guy. His attention to detail shows in his signature clean design style. A visual thinker to the core, he brings a keen design eye to every project he touches. Matt creates intricately designed patterns in his free time, that is, when he’s not out in the woods camping.

Owen Shea

Owen’s the idea man. He can pluck thoughts from the air and turn them into animated visuals that tell a story. With his love of nature, he pulls from the world around him to create renderings and media pieces in the digital realm. Owen revels in the ability to make art for a living and takes every opportunity to be creative at the office or in his free time.

Amanda Ingwersen

Designer, Illustrator, and Writer

Amanda’s the wordy one. She comes from a long line of artsy people with the gift of gab. This family trait has served her well in the design and copywriting department. She is able to spot the pertinent and entertaining points when telling a client’s story. Amanda’s main joys in life include working in design and spending time with her family. She also enjoys making people laugh—whether it’s on purpose or not.

Gary Guerrero

Gary’s the code talker. Compared to most at 2Shea he’d be considered quiet, but when it comes to the web; he speaks a mean game of code. Gary is also a skilled draftsman—he’s some of the original talent behind 2Shea illustrations over the years. When he’s not in the office he’s playing disc golf, regular golf, working on model trains, playing the guitar, biking, basketball, running…the guy is busy.

Michelle Shea

Project Coordinator

Michelle handles the behind-the-scenes work that keeps 2Shea running. From project coordination to scheduling and HR tasks, she keeps the team organized and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks. She’s the point person for internal logistics and helps maintain the structure needed to keep creative work on track.

Lake Thomas

Lake is the pixel whisperer, she speaks fluent vector. Whether it’s building a fresh logo, finessing a brand system, or reimagining a layout that just won’t cooperate, Lake brings calm to creative chaos. Her superpower? Making complex designs look delightfully simple. She believe in hierarchy, harmony, and the healing power of a perfectly placed gradient. When not nudging pixels, you’ll find them reorganizing their font library “just for fun.”

Emily Sulkanen

Emily is the puzzler. She finds designs layouts that flow and fonts that are a perfect fit. From editorial spreads to scroll-stopping digital posts, Emily knows how to guide the eye and elevate the message. She believes rules are made to be bent—but only if you understand them first. On weekends, Emily can even be found near a cat putting together actual puzzles.
